1. Before applying for Key Action 2
It is important to know the aims and requirements of the Key Action 2 before applying.
So, Key Action 2 specifically for Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Vocational Education and Training involves two categories:
- Strategic partnership developing innovation;
- Strategic partnership supporting exchange of good practices.
Generally, Key Action 2 in the Field of Vocational Education and Training aims to support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices. Also, it aims on promoting joint initiatives that encourage cooperation, peer learning and exchanges of experience at European level.
Does your project meet the requirements?
Every year European Commission sets specific priorities for the Key Action 2. In order to have the project accepted and funded, you need to fulfil at least one horizontal, or at least one specific priority in the field of education, training and youth, (e.g. VET specific priorities).
If you project meets one of the priorities, feel free to move further!
Who can apply and who can participate?
The organizations established in the Programme Country are considered as eligible applicants. Concerning the possible participants, they may be from both Programme and Partner countries, including the following institutions:
- a not-for-profit organisation or NGO;
- a public body at local, regional or national level;
- a public or private, a small, medium or large enterprise (including social enterprises);
- a school/institute/educational centre;
- an inter-company training centre;
- a body providing counselling or information services;
- a body validating knowledge, skills and competences acquired through formal or non-formal learning;
- enterprises providing shared training (collaborative training).
The extent of partnerships can last between 12 and 36 months, it means that all the activities and the dissemination should be finished by the deadline.
2. While working on the application
So, you are an eligible organization that shares the goals of Key Action 2, the most important part now is to make sure you can demonstrate it in your application.
The responses to the application questions should illustrate the ability to undertake such projects with realistic ideas and feasible solutions.
Also, the relation to horizontal or specific priorities of Strategic Partnership should be evident.
Last, but not the least is the impact and dissemination. Overall, dissemination activities should be pre-planned and conducted along the project life-cycle. Evaluation of the project would access the positive impact and outcomes to benefit the community.
3. After the application is sent
Your application will be accessed by either the National Agency or by the Executive Agency (exceptional cases) according to the criteria regarding project relevance; quality of the project design and implementation; quality of the project team and the cooperation arrangements; and impact and dissemination. In turn, EProjectConsult will assist you in proofreading your application, recommending necessary revisions and sharing the expertise in Key Action 2, Erasmus + Program.
