Jalari Artist Residency (JAR) is awarded to qualified persons working in the various disciplines of the Arts, Humanities and Crafts without any regard to nationality, age, race, or gender.
To be eligible for the JAR, applicants should demonstrate achievement in their disciplines, in accordance with their age and experience.
The following materials are required of all candidates for JAR. The documents may be submitted in English, French, Italian, or Spanish.

The completed application form.
- A letter of reference.
- A curriculum vitae.
- A description of the project that the applicant would pursue during her/his stay at the JAR.
- A sample of the applicant’s work that has been published, performed, exhibited, or otherwise publicly presented during the last years.
JAR residents may be accompanied by their spouses or partners during their stay at the JAR. Spouses/partners who intend to pursue a project in one of the disciplines, and who wish to be designated as JAR residents, must submit separate applications documents.
