Social Care and Administration
EProjectConsult and “A Rocca”, in cooperation with Diputación de A Coruña, hosted from the 1st of March to 24th of May 2015 a group of people from Spain, in the frame of Life Long Learning programme, Leonardo da Vinci – PLM During the project named ‘PRAXIDE – Prácticas de Diputación de A Coruña en empresas europeas’ we hosted 14 selected participants who made internships in local companies. The internships were addressed to students of the speciality of Social Care and Administration.
Participants had a chance to see the way of working in Italy. Certainly, they had an opportunity to obtain a lot of useful information about the functioning of Italian enterprises, which are related Social Care and Administration. All participants gained valuable experience in working as a team, cooperation with colleagues and individual work based on the individual skills of each candidate.
Cultural Programme
In the free time they had chance to visit some beautiful places in Sicily, and know Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants.

General Skills and Competencies Acquired:
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources in the field related;
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: learning on developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others;
- Development of specialized Italian language skills;
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making;
- Developing social perspectives and being aware of reactions of other co-workers and supervisors;
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made.

After the project was implemented, participants received “A Rocca placement certificate” and EUROPASS. We hope that they have learned new techniques and methods that will be valuable in their future workplace and will help them to stand out in the Spain’s labor market.
