Erasmus+ Mobility Project Coordinator

Position Offered: Erasmus+ Mobility Project Coordinator (Polish Central Europe Area)

The selected candidate will join our international Project Management Team in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Sicily, Italy), with a focus on coordination of mobility programmes involving Polish Central Europe Area partners and participants.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for Polish Central Europe Area stakeholders (students, teachers, and institutions).
  • Manage communications via email, phone, and online meetings in Polish and English.
  • Support the preparation and implementation of project-related documentation, including:
    • Learning Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, contracts, invoices, certificates, and reports.
  • Organize and coordinate participant support activities, such as:
    • Orientation sessions, cultural visits, logistical and emergency assistance.
    • Accompanying delegations during study visits in Sicily.
  • Support the coordination and implementation of approved EU and international projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Support marketing, dissemination, and public relations activities, including digital media.
  • Contribute to participants selection and to the organization of seminars/meetings in Italy and abroad.

Candidate Profile – Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Polish (native speaker).
  • Knowledge of Italian (B1).
  • University degree in education, marketing, business, economic, or related fields.
  • Previous experience as a project coordinator.
  • Valid driving licence (mandatory).
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, Google Workspace, digital tools).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously while appropriately delegating tasks.
  • Strong interest in working within an international and multicultural team.
  • Strong communication skills, motivation, and result-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and readiness to travel when required.

Offer, Terms and Conditions

  • Contract type: Full-time employment (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day) under Italian Labour Law (Legislative Decree 81/2015 and subsequent amendments). The contract is renewable subject to project funding.
  • Working hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00.
  • Salary: €1,400 – €1,600 net/month, depending on qualifications and experience, in line with Italian employment standards.
  • Additional payments: 13th and 14th monthly salary (as provided by Italian law and applicable collective labour agreements).
  • Leave entitlement: 26 working days per year (approx. 2.2 days/month), in accordance with Legislative Decree 66/2003 on working hours and rest periods.
  • Relocation support: Individual accommodation (private room in B&B or equivalent, expenses included) provided for the first three months as reimbursement of relocation costs.
