Erasmus+ Internship
hairdressing sector
The team of the Associazione Art. Cult. “A Rocca” and EProjectConsult International department hosted a group from Lublin, Poland, in the frame of Erasmus+ programme. We hosted 8selected participants during the project named “Impuls do rozwoju”. The internships were in the field of hairdressing. The participants gained experience in their field of studies and become acquainted with the traditional Italian and Sicilian way of labour.
Cultural Programme
In the free time the participants had the chance to visit some beautiful places in Sicily, including Etna, Taormina, Palermo and Cefalù. They also got acquainted with the famous Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants. We hope that their experience of living abroad was unforgettable and enriching in the cultural way.

- Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made.
The participants received information from all the relevant sources in the field of hairdressing. They performed coloring, perming, straightening, cutting, trimming and styling activities. They also learned to professionally communicate with both colleagues and clients. The participants also washed and dried the clients hair, and then styled it in accordance to the event the client was attending using brushes, hair irons and combs. Overall all the participants learned to efficiently interact in an international environment and make use of their foreign language skills.
At the end of the project, participants received “A Rocca” placement certificate” and EUROPASS. Most importantly the participants gained professional experience in their sector, so that they will be more competitive in the labor market in Poland.
Consequently, the participants seemed to be satisfied with this project, and from their evaluations it is clear that they feel it was an interesting and useful experience. We are satisfied with the seemingly flawless success of the project and hope that we can continue our cooperation with our partner school in Poland.
