Erasmus+ Internship
Car mechanical, Carpentry and Catering sector
From 3rd until 16th of July 2016, Associazione Art. Cult. “A Rocca” and Eprojectconsult International department hosted polish carpenters, car mechanicals, cooks, waiters and bartenders from our partner, the Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Jana Pawła II school in the frame of Erasmus+ programme. The 20 participants gained experience in their field of studies and become acquainted with the traditional Italian and Sicilian way of labour.
Cultural Programme
During the 2 weeks they had the chance to visit Taormina and the volcano Etna, taste Italian cuisine and meet locals in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. We hope that their stay was unforgettable and enriching, both in professional and cultural way.

General Skills and Competencies Acquired:
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources in the field related;
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: learning on developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others;
- Development of specialized Italian language skills;
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making;
- Developing social perspectives and being aware of reactions of other co-workers and supervisors;
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made.

At the end of the project, participants received “A Rocca” placement certificate” and EUROPASS.
Most importantly, thanks to the gained professional experience in their sector, the participants will be more competitive in the labor market in Poland.
Consequently, both the participants and our team is satisfied with this project. From their evaluation we can see, that it was an interesting experience for them, which they can benefit from in the future. We are satisfied with the seemingly flawless success of the project and hope that we can continue our cooperation with Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Jana Pawła II.
