THE KICK-OFF MEETING
13th & 14th Feb 2017, Mullingar Ireland
The kick-off meeting of the project SMILE – Sustainable Microbrewers Learning Across Europe took place in Ireland on 13rd and 14th of Feb 2017 hosted by Mullingar Employment Action Group Ltd with 15 active participants from project-related parties, including MEAG (Ireland), Brewers of Europe, Inn Training (UK, England), Glafka s. r. o (Prague, Czech Republic), Dramblys (Albacete, Spain), and ARocca (Sicily, Italy).
During the meeting, all participants had the opportunities to present their organizations as well as their own expectations for SMILE, followed by the detailed comprehensive Rules and Requirements about the project under the frame of Key Action 2 ERASMUS + program. The SMILE overview was also represented, including Project Schedules and Deliverables.
Moreover, all participants also show their engagement in this project though some practical discussions about the Brewing Industry in Europe and globally, research and development of Curriculum after their own presentation about each country’s Brewing Industry introduced. The last part of the meeting was introduced about SMILE Training Centre proposal with the aim to enhance the quality, knowledge and expertise skills in Brewing industry with introduction about SMILE Training course and Qualifications towards Learner, Teachers and Trainers.
The kick-off meeting was very successful with active contributions and strong engagements of participated partners. With signed and co-signed contracts, it proves a highly commitment in collaborative partnership spirit in this project.
