Interreg : European Territorial Co-operation

After cooperating on the successful finalization of Erasmus+ programme KA1 projects submission, for these last days we have been devoting the time to accomplishment of European projects in the other fields like Erasmus+ KA2 project submissions and Europe for Citizens programme – European Remembrance strand.

Since our organization never sleeps and keeps up to date with every new opportunity, EProjectConsult is aimed for Interreg Europe programme. To be more specific, Interreg Europe programme supports improving the performance of regional development policies and programmes.

The main goal of projects is to put together at least three partners from differentiated Europe countries in order to share experiences and ideas resulting in solutions needed to improve their strategies for their own citizens.

Interreg Europe funds following organizations:

  1. Public authorities (National, Regional or Local)
  2. Institutions governed by public law (e.g. regional development agencies, business support organizations, universities)
  3. Private non-profit organizations

While results from those projects consist mostly in integrating the lessons learnt from the cooperation, cross-border or transnational cooperation projects are implementation oriented and it must be demonstrate how the results of the cooperation will remain beyond the funding period. Interregional cooperation programme deals with needs through cooperation and so the partnership does not have to be maintained beyond the lifetime of the project.

Interreg Europe programme covers 4 policy learning platforms relating to regional development such as:

  1. Research, technological development and innovation
  2. Competitiveness of SMEs
  3. Low-carbon economy
  4. Environment and resource efficiency

The cooperation, among partners with the same interest, should be lasting from three to five years and each of them produces an action plan – defying what will be done in the region. EProjectConsult is interested in joining a project in themes like Research & Innovation and SME Competitiveness. Since our organization is constantly improving skills and knowledge in our professional and international activities, we want to not only share practices but also exchange experiences with partners in order to find inspiration and implement learnt techniques. We want to attend Interreg Europe networking and partner search event in Netherlands, so stay tuned for more interesting news.
