The team of the Associazione Art. Cult. “A Rocca” and EProjectConsult International department hosted a group from Nowa Sól, Poland in the frame of project financed from the PO WER funds under the the vocational education and training as part of the project “Foreign internships for students and graduates of vocational schools and mobility of vocational education staff”. We hosted 10 selected participants during the project named “Staż zagraniczny szansą podniesienia mobilności zawodowej młodych ludzi na lokalnym i europejskim rynku pracy” The internship were in the field of economy, thereby they gained experience in their field of studies and become acquainted with the traditional Italian and Sicilian way of labour.
Cultural Programme
In the free time they had chance to visit some beautiful places in Sicily, including excursions Etna & Taormina and Castoreale & Parco Jalari, and know Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants. We hope that their experience of living abroad was unforgettable and enriching in the cultural way.

General Skills and Competencies Acquired:
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources in the field related;
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: learning on developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others;
- Development of specialized Italian language skills;
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making;
- Developing social perspectives and being aware of reactions of other co-workers and supervisors;
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made.
The project was finished with evaluations from the students. In their assessment they described the project as valuable, useful and interesting. “A Rocca” and EProjectConsult are satisfied to have offered the students a possibility to gain professional experience in their sector to be more competitive in the labor market. The project took place smoothly and we are hoping to continue the pleasant cooperation with the school.
