What is EXChange AI?
EXChange AI is a cutting-edge Erasmus+ project that aims to build artificial intelligence (AI) skills among adult education professionals across Europe. Through innovative training methodologies, online resources, and international collaboration, the project empowers educators to integrate AI tools into their teaching practices.
This initiative directly supports Erasmus+ priorities in digital transformation, education innovation, and capacity building in adult learning.
Project Objectives
Design AI-based training modules for teachers and trainers in adult education
Develop a digital platform with self-learning tools and educational resources
Organize “learning expeditions” focused on AI applications in real-world education environments
Strengthen transnational cooperation and exchange of best practices in AI for education
The project fosters long-term, sustainable solutions to digital challenges in adult education, with tools that can be adapted across Europe.

EXChange AI, an Erasmus+ project, launched in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Sicily, uniting art, AI, and inclusion. Participants from Italy, Germany, and Bulgaria explored AI in creative workshops, local cultural sites, and MuMa – Museo del Mare. The project emphasized social inclusion by involving autistic youth, showcasing AI’s potential in education, culture, and community. Future editions will continue in Germany and Bulgaria.
