EProjectConsult and “A Rocca”, in cooperation with IES. ANTONIO CALVÍN, hosted from the 14th of March until the 8th of June 2015 a group of people from Almagro Ciudad Real, Spain in the frame of Erasmus+, KA1 Mobility project for VET learners and staff. During the project named “ERASMUS + “Proyecto de movilidad” we hosted 2 selected participants who made internships in local companies. The internships were addressed to students of the speciality of administrative work.
Cultural Programme
In the free time they had chance to visit some beautiful places in Sicily, and know Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants.
Internship
- ANTONIO CASTRO FERNÁNDEZ: F.N.A. Consal Messina (address: Via Roma 266, 98051 BarcellonaPozzo Di Gotto, Italy), working hours per day: 8, from Monday to Friday. F.N.A. Consal Messina as part of EPAS is a body institution that provides social assistance to the local people of in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. They provide services that informs workers, pensioners and young people both on new legislation affecting them in terms of the protection and social interests, because often the rights provided are in fact denied because of bureaucratic problems and complications of still existing laws. The EPAS offers social security services, social and fiscal through its regional offices. Activities/Tasks performed : Support of all the day-to-day operations of the related business. General clerical tasks including correspondence, filing, scheduling, data entry and phone coverage. Simultaneous management of multiple schedules. Report to supervisors.
- PABLO ANGUITA HORNERO: “Istituto Comprensivo Militi” kindergarten, Website: http://www.icmiliti.it (address: p. Maria Montessori 1, Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (ME), Sicily, Italy), working hours per day: 6, from Tuesday to Saturday, 08:00-14:00 in the morning. Activities/Tasks performed Performing administrative duties such as assisting in the school area (libraries, playrooms, kitchen etc.); Selecting, storing and inventorying of classroom equipment (materials, supplies etc.); Demonstrating activities to children; Assisting in preparation and implementation of students’ schedule; Instructing and monitoring students regarding the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage. Preparing materials, classrooms, and other indoor and outdoor spaces to facilitate creative play and safety.
General Skills and Competencies Acquired:
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources in the field related;
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: learning on developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others;
- Development of specialized Italian language skills;
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making;
- Developing social perspectives and being aware of reactions of other co-workers and supervisors;
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made.
After the project was implemented, participants received “A Rocca placement certificate” and EUROPASS. We hope that they have learned new techniques and methods that will be valuable in their future workplace and will help them to stand out in the Spain’s labor market.
