Hi Everybody!
These days we are in Estonia for:
- our first Contact Seminar of 2017;
- the 3rd international meeting of the project “REMEDY – The Voice from the Past – Recalling Memories in Diversity”
The Seminar is now taking place at Maiasmokk, an old café in the capital city of Tallinn. After giving a short presentation of our Organisation, we are available to discuss together with our participants about new project ideas and cooperation under the Erasmus+ KA1 programme.
In the following days we will move to Tartu for the 3rd meeting of the project “REMEDY” under the Europe for Citizens programme. The mission of this meeting is the Reconciliation between European countries despites the tragic past events that have built their history.
The meeting will be led by Peipsi Center for Transbounddary Cooperation.
The agenda is based on two fundamental pillars:
- workshops (in groups): smaller groups brainstorming a current collective memory or historic memory issue leading towards better understanding on how to address reconciliation;
- Walking tour in Raadi: a guided tour around the area of Soviet Raadi airbase which has been the largest military airbase in the Baltics area for 50 years.
This is the crucial stage of the project because it aims to draw lessons from the past that are relevant to put to bed, get together and preserving the peace.
