Hosted by Black&White, a prestigious local café bar, their traineeship kicked off with a guided tour led by the owner—an industry veteran with over 40 years of culinary expertise.
During their stay, the students are not only learning to prepare iconic Sicilian treats like cornetto, granita, and gelato, but also immersing themselves in the local work culture. This unique experience is helping them refine their skills, boost their confidence, and gain valuable insights into the world of artisanal baking.
Austrian Students Dive into Hospitality at La Bussola Hotel in Milazzo
Two students from Austria are embracing the world of hospitality and tourism through an enriching internship at Hotel La Bussola in Milazzo—a picturesque coastal town and gateway to the Aeolian Islands. Over the course of a month, they are rotating through key departments, including reception, guest services, and hotel management, learning how a top-rated seaside hotel operates.
