Erasmus+ Training Course

"Overview of Education"

From the 3rd of April to the 9th of April 2016, the team of the Ass. Art. Cult. “A Rocca and Eprojectconsult International department, in cooperation with 10ο Gymnasio Irakliou and Colegio Salesiano Santísima Trinidad, took the role of intermediary partner for 2 groups of people: one from Crete, Greece and one from Sevilla (Spain), for a training course, titled “Overview of Education”, in the frame of the Erasmus+ programme. During the project we hosted 8 selected participants. The Participants had the opportunity to receive training in the field of education. The training consisted on seminars, workshops and study visits lead by the trainer Natalia Seriakova from Germany.

Cultural Programme

Besides their tutoring, they had the chance to explore the depths of the Sicilian culture, while meeting new friends from Italy as well as between themselves, thus building international partnerships and networks that may help them for many years to come.

Skills and professional competences acquired:

  • A broader view of education systems in different countries;
  • Improvement of skills and competencies of participants in the teaching sector;
  • Improvement of skills and competencies with a view to developing adaptability;
  • Acquisition of knowledge and experiences, exchange of ideas, and know-how for good practices in teaching approaches, supporting structures for students and co-operation with local enterprises and businesses;
  • Application of best practices observed during the training on daily basis at work;
  • Promotion and reinforcement of the contribution of training in the process of innovation related to teaching methodologies;
  • Identify the characteristics of effective participatory in evaluation and self-evaluation process, in order to ensure quality in school units;
  • Selection of appropriate techniques for a participatory process.
  • Linguistic and cultural knowledge about Italy;
  • Promotion of European values about mobility, cultural exchange and cooperation between different countries.

In short, all the participants have been satisfied with the amount of knowledge they have acquired during their training in Sicily.

Nevertheless, participants gained professional experience in their sector that will help them to become more efficient in their job. After the training course was finished, participants received “A Rocca certificate”. Employees of the “A Rocca” Association and people involved in this training course hope that it was a rich and useful experience for everybody.
