The team of the Associazione Art. Cult. “A Rocca” and EProjectConsult International department hosted a group from Toruń, Poland, in the frame of Erasmus+ programme. We hosted 8 selected participants during the project named Kompetencje zawodowe kluczem do sukcesu na europejskim rynku pracy. The internships took place in various sectors, including photography, cooking, hairdressing and hotel. The participants gained experience in their field of studies and become acquainted with the traditional Italian and Sicilian way of labour.
In the free time they had chance to visit some beautiful places in Sicily; Etna, Taormina, Milazzo, Panarea, Stromboli, Palermo, Cefalú, Syracuse and Noto. The participants also participated in a Italian language course during their stay in Sicily, the language skills acquired during the course were surely useful during their internships. They also got acquainted with the famous Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants. We hope that their experience of living abroad was unforgettable and enriching in the cultural way.
The participants obtained information from all relevant sources in their field. They took part in the everyday work of the company they were placed in and became part of a team. Surely they also improved their foreign language skills by interacting and working in an international environment. The participants were all working in very different sectors and companies, more information about specific tasks and competences acquired can be found in the Final Report.
At the end of the project, participants received “A Rocca” placement certificate”, a certificate for the language course and EUROPASS.
Most importantly the participants gained professional experience in their sector, so that they will be more competitive in the labor market in Poland.
Consequently, the participants seemed to be satisfied with this project, and from their evaluations it is clear that they feel it was an interesting and useful experience. We are satisfied with the seemingly flawless success of the project and hope that we can continue our cooperation.
