Final report
The team of the Associazione Art. Cult. “A Rocca” and Eprojectconsult International department, in cooperation with MCAST, hosted Luke Schembri from Paola (Malta) for the project 2015-1-MT01-KA103-003678 in the frame of Erasmus+ programme. Luke Schembri performed an internship in the field of marketing, commerce and management. Luke gained experience in his field of studies, precisely in project management, life cycle of the project implemented, with special focus on the Erasmus+ and Europe for citizenship programs.
Cultural Programme
Luke had a chance to visit some beautiful places during his free time, in Sicily, including Palermo and Cefalù. He also got acquainted with the famous Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants. We hope that his experience of living abroad was unforgettable and enriching in many different ways!
Internship

During the internship, he had the opportunity to carry out some tasks and activities:
- Analyzing and studying the working policies of the hosting organization, marketing, strategies, methods of communication;
- Performing tasks related to the administration;
- Supporting back office activities;
- Improving the social media communication;
- Supporting on writing European project.
General Skills and Competencies Acquired:
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources in the field related;
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: learning on developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others;
- Development of specialized Italian language skills;
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making;
- Developing social perspectives and being aware of reactions of other co-workers and supervisors;
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made.
At the end of the project, he received the “A Rocca” placement certificate” and EUROPASS.
Most importantly Luke gained professional experience in his sector, and now he will be more competitive in the labor market in Malta.
Consequently, Luke seemed to be satisfied with this project, and from his evaluations it is clear that he felt it was an interesting and useful experience. We are satisfied with the seemingly flawless success of the project and hope that we can continue our cooperation with MCAST.
