During the project named “Motivate me!” we hosted 5 selected participants from Co. Kerry, Ireland and 1 from Neamț, Romania.

First days of the program were dedicated to the sessions on boosting employees’ motivation and productivity, which is one of the greatest challenges currently faced in the education area. From the 4th day, the course aimed to prepare the participant to assist students when making career choices: provide extensive consultations, work together in order to prepare excellent CVs and motivation letters, identify the best education institutions for every student’s capabilities and preferences.
The training consisted on seminars and workshops lead by the trainer Sérgio Henrique Machado Gonçalves from Portugal.
The training course offers participants a panoramic view on innovative teaching practices, introduces them to the Italian education system and the most creative teaching methodologies applied in Italy.

In the free time they had chance to visit some beautiful places in Sicily, including Milazzo and Jalari Park Museum, and know Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants. We hope that their experience of living abroad was unforgettable and enriching in the cultural way.

Specific skills acquired:

In short, all the participants have been satisfied with the amount of knowledge they have acquired during their training in Sicily. Besides their tutoring, they had the chance to explore the depths of the Sicilian culture, while meeting new friends from Italy as well as between themselves, thus building international partnerships and networks that may help them for many years to come.

Nevertheless, participants gained professional experience in their sector that will help them to become more efficient in their job. After the project was finished, participants received “A Rocca certificate” and EUROPASS. Employees of the “A Rocca” Association and people involved in this project hope that it was a rich and useful experience for everybody.
