Erasmus+ 2016 Germany Child care Technical engineering and Carpentry

Erasmus+ Internship

social affairs (child care), technical engineering and carpentry sector

The team of the “A Rocca” NGO and EProjectConsult International department, in cooperation with Paul-Spiegel-Berufskolleg des Kreises Warendorf  took a role of intermediary partner in the frame of Erasmus+ mobility projects and hosted 4 selected participants from Germany who completed their internship in the field of social affairs (child care), technical engineering and carpentry.

The duration of the project was 4 weeks, from the 1st to the 28th of October 2016.

The trainees gained professional knowledge and experience in their field of studies and interests and got familiarized with traditional Italian way of labour.

During participants’ stay in Sicily we provided them with an Italian language course for elementary level. Their teacher was Daniela, who has a great experience working with foreign students. Daniela also speaks German language, so this fact made their language course easier and more understandable.

Cultural Programme

The participants stay was full of experiences, both in professional and personal aspects. In their free time, they had the chance to visit beautiful places in Sicily such as:  Palermo, Cefalù, Etna, Taormina, Jalari Park Museum, and to know Italian and unique Sicilian cuisine.

We hope that this experience of living abroad was unforgettable and culturally inspiring for our trainees.
