Ciao!
My name is Elena and I am the new intern of EProjectConsult. It is only my first week here but I have already gotten the impression that it is going to be a great experience. Although the office is always busy, the people and the whole atmosphere are just wonderful.
My first days here were quite demanding but also very interesting as many groups have arrived. Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto is crowded with Greek Groups these days that have arrived within the Erasmus + Programme KA1.
On Saturday 26th of March, EProjectConsult welcomed a group of 15 students and 4 teachers from the 1st Ergastiriako Kentro Thessalonikis. The participants just finished their training in the field of mobile application in order to gain experience in their sectors of studies (system requirements, development, coding and testing, sharing and marketing). After them, on Sunday 3rd of April, a group of 5 teachers from the 10th Gymnasio Irakliou has arrived in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. The participants had the opportunity to receive a training in the field of education.
The training consisted of seminars and workshops lead by the trainer Natalia Seriakova from Germany. The next day, another Greek group of 15 participants and 2 teachers has arrived from 6th Epal Esperino Larissas. The programme includes study visits to local plant and companies, meeting with companies’ representatives in topics related to food technology.
Each group had an informative presentation, designed to give the participants useful information they require during their stay in Sicily. They were also invited to enjoy a welcoming Aperitivo (Happy Hour) that took place on the first day of the course.
In their free time the participants have also the chance to discover the greatest attractions Sicily has to offer and know Italian cuisine thanks to the local restaurants. They have already visited Taormina, Savoca, Etna, Catania, Siracusa and Noto but there are also many interesting places to visit such as natural parks, ancient villages and Greek/Roman historical areas. We hope that their experience of living abroad will be unforgettable and enriching in cultural way!
