DCE Learning Mobility Brings European Participants Together in Oslo
As part of the DCE – Digital Citizenship Education: Learn, Connect, Engage, Thrive project, four participants from our organisation travelled to Oslo, Norway, to take part in a learning mobility hosted by FURIM Institute. Together with participants from Bulgaria and Norway, they explored innovative approaches to artificial intelligence in adult education and the development of digital citizenship competences.
The programme combined practical workshops, collaborative learning and a European Prompt-a-thon, giving participants the opportunity to experiment with AI tools while addressing real educational challenges through the Design Thinking methodology.
Working in international teams, participants exchanged ideas, tested different approaches and presented practical solutions focused on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in learning environments. The mobility also included discussions on digital competences and opportunities for project partners to evaluate progress and plan the next stages of the DCE project.
Beyond the learning activities, the mobility provided valuable opportunities for intercultural exchange and networking, reinforcing the importance of European cooperation in developing innovative educational practices.
The DCE project aims to support educators and adult learners in navigating the opportunities and challenges of the digital age by promoting responsible AI use, critical thinking and active digital citizenship. Through a series of international Prompt-a-thons and the development of practical educational resources, the project contributes to building more inclusive and digitally competent learning communities across Europe.
The next and final Prompt-a-thon of the project will take place in Italy, specifically in Sicily, bringing partners together once again to conclude this collaborative journey and share the results achieved.
We are grateful to our Norwegian partners for hosting this mobility and look forward to continuing our collaboration in the next project activities.
