COMPASS 2° transnational meeting Cambridge, UK
Today is the day of the second meeting of one of our Key Action 2 strategic partnership project. It is called Compass and it aims to develop a platform which is available both for PC and phone that contains basic vocabulary, including phrases particularly relevant to migrants and the situations they face.
The vocabulary will be created in the most widely spoken migrant languages (Arabic, Persian (Dair/Farsi) Pashto, Kurdish, Albanian) and the most relevant EU languages (German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Turkish). There will be 1000 words and phrases in total so we hope it will really help people to continue their journey in Europe in an easier way!
Todays meeting is happening in Cambridge, United Kingdom and we are represented by our director, Nino Pietrini and our EU project manager Federica Sottile. For this meeting all the selected phrases and words had to be translated and checked so a lot of work has been done already. Furthermore, we created a logo for the project which you can see here.
It is going to be interesting two days with the Compass team!
