Celebrating the Success of the FAR&COM KA2 Project in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto

On October 24th, our team hosted a vibrant promotional event for the FAR&COM KA2 project—a special initiative we’ve been dedicatedly working on to improve reading and comprehension skills across diverse age groups. Held in the heart of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, at “Perditempo”, a popular wine bar, the evening was filled with insightful exchanges, local flavors, and a festive atmosphere.

The event kicked off with a comprehensive presentation of the FAR&COM project to an enthusiastic audience of local and international organizations, schools, and educators. Our team shared the project’s core mission: to enhance fast reading and comprehension skills for students aged 8 to 16, their teachers, and school staff, specifically addressing the languages spoken in the partner countries.

Following the presentation, guests were invited to enjoy a traditional Sicilian aperitivo, designed to create an ambiance that was both informative and relaxing. This unique blend of learning and leisure encouraged lively discussions and networking. To top off the evening, we featured a live DJ, bringing a burst of energy to the event and adding to the vibrant atmosphere as participants connected, exchanged ideas, and celebrated the impact of the FAR&COM project together.

About the FAR&COM Project

The Fast Reading and Comprehension (FAR&COM) project addresses a modern challenge: in today’s information-rich world, the ability to quickly read and effectively understand information has become vital. This initiative is aimed at fostering a more inclusive and skilled society by equipping young learners, educators, and school staff with these essential skills.

As part of this goal, the FAR&COM team developed a user-friendly mobile app tailored to improve cognitive abilities and tackle challenges such as eye regression, shorter attention spans, and diminished imagination.
