How to explain so many things in a brief farewell massage… Difficult task, but I will try!
my relationship with EProjectConsult began some time ago, before I even started working. But that is another story, a previous chapter that, although very special, it’s not relevant at this time.
Maybe I should also talk about my relationship with Italy, or to be more specific, about my relationship with Sicily. But I think that although EProjectConsult is Italy, and it is Sicily, it is also much more than that. I have lived many wonderful moments, and very few negatives, that is the truth. That said, qualitatively and quantitatively, I have to make a very positive balance. Both at personal and work level. I have learned many things, and I believe that today I am a better person and a more responsible citizen.
If I find myself writing this, it’s because this chapter is coming to an end. Many feelings come up, with an ineffable result. Joy, sadness, restlessness, uncertainty, spirit of overcoming…
Although in a summary, I would like to thank the people who have trusted me to be part of their team, Federica Sottile and Nino Pietrini. From the first day they’ve made me feel one of the EProjectConsult’s family, and I will be eternally grateful for believing in me. Each of my colleagues has contributed to make this experience something worth telling. With Mr. Errol sitting on my left, everything has been much easier, both work and life. I am sure that our roads will cross again, since we still have many pending issues. Serena has brought authenticity to this group, beyond the “art” which is taken for granted. Linda, in addition to turning the office into a sauna, has always been available providing knowledge to each and every one about the daily tasks. Teruko, from the country of the rising sun, always with that unshakable spirit and that Japanese savoir-faire. Impossible to forget Mari, the joy that each person needs in their life. Great worker and beatiful person, someone worthy of mention. Giusy, tireless and always willing to do her best. Daniele, a true Sicilian gentleman. Ignazio and Angelo, although I knew them recently also because of the distance, I’m sure that I have good friends in Catania if one day I will find myself there. Also, I have someone who can send me Polpette di Cavallo by mail. I wish the new members of EProjectConsult family all the best, which will be exciting without any doubts. And a special mention requires the “Maestro” Loris Saporita, not only for his lessons of the Italian and Sicilian language (the latter has allowed me to immerse myself in the idiosyncrasy of the whole town), but also for his sincere support from day one. Always willing to help anyone, a great companion who has become a true FRIEND. Last but not least, long live Rita.

Como explicar tantas cosas en un breve comentario… Difícil tarea, pero lo intentaré.
Hace ya algún tiempo que mi relación con EProjectConsult comenzó, antes de que comenzara a trabajar incluso. Pero eso es otra historia, un capítulo anterior que aunque muy especial, no viene al caso en este momento.
Quizá debiese hablar también de mi relación con Italia, o para ser más concreto, de mi relación con Sicilia. Pero creo que aunque EProjectConsult es Italia, y es Sicilia; también es mucho más que eso. He vivido muchos momentos maravillosos, y muy pocos negativos, esa es la realidad. Con lo cual, cualitativa y cuantitativamente, tengo que hacer un balance muy positivo. Tanto a nivel personal como laboral. He aprendido muchísimas cosas, y creo que hoy soy mejor persona y un individuo más apto para esta sociedad.
Si me encuentro escribiendo esto, es porque este capítulo está llegando a su fin. Sensaciones encontradas afloran en mí, con resultado inefable. Alegría, tristeza, inquietud, incertidumbre, espíritu de superación, …
En el apartado de agradecimientos, aunque de manera resumida, debo iniciar dando las gracias a las personas que han confiado en mí para formar parte de su equipo, Federica Sottile y Nino Pietrini. Desde el primer día me han hecho sentir uno más en la familia que es EProjectConsult, y les estaré eternamente agradecido por creer en mí. Cada uno de mis compañeros ha aportado su granito de arena para hacer esta experiencia algo digno de ser contado. Con Mr. Errol sentado a mi izquierda todo ha sido mucho más fácil, tanto el trabajo como la vida. Estoy seguro de que nos volveremos a cruzar en el camino, ya que tenemos muchos asuntos pendientes todavía. Serena ha aportado la autenticidad a este grupo, además del arte que ya se presupone. Linda, además de convertir la oficina en una sauna, ha estado siempre disponible aportando conocimiento a todas y cada una de las tareas diarias. Teruko, desde el país del sol naciente, siempre con ese espíritu inquebrantable y ese buen hacer nipón. Imposible olvidarme de Mari, la alegría que cada persona necesita en su vida. Gran trabajadora y mejor persona, la convierten en alguien digna de mención. Giusy, incansable y siempre dispuesta a dar lo mejor de sí. Daniele, un verdadero caballero siciliano. Ignazio y Angelo, aunque la relación ha sido menor debido a la distancia, sé que tengo buenos amigos en Catania si algún día los necesito. Además de tener quien me envíe Polpette di Cavallo por correo. A los nuevos integrantes de la familia EProject les deseo lo mejor en este futuro ya presente, que se muestra emocionante sin lugar a dudas. Y una mención especial requiere el “profesor” Loris Saporita. No solo por sus lecciones de la lengua italiana y siciliana (conocer esta última me ha permitido sumergirme en la idiosincrasia de todo un pueblo), si no por tenderme su mano desde el primer día. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesite, de gran compañero ha pasado a convertirse en un verdadero AMIGO. Por último, que no menos importante, larga vida a Rita.
