KICK OFF MEETING, DUBLIN, NOVEMBER 16th -17th 2017
It took place in Ireland (Dublin) the kick-off meeting in the frame of the KA2 project named “Access to VET”.
This time we were hosted by the Irish partner at Ballymun Job Centre.
All the project partners took actively part in the meeting during which was presented the project as a whole and it were discussed the major points of the Work Programme.
Aim of the project is to mutually become acquainted with the best practices applied in each partner country in the fields of developing transversal skills needed both for employment and learning, and the recognition and validation of prior knowledge with a purpose of enhancing.
Here are the main activities during the meeting:
- Presentation of the system on competence development, of related trainings (e.g. how to provide people of low level of education with transversal skills/key competences, especially adults)
- Presentation of good practices, methods on the validation of non-formal knowledge in case of adult education
Furthermore, all the partners agreed on the tasks and the role each of them should play for the good result of the project.
It was also defined:
- Dates on the 2nd partners meeting to be held in Granada (Spain);
- Next project activity schedules and future steps to carry on until the next project meeting
At the end of the meeting the hosting partner took the participants to visit the Ballymun Regional Youth Resourse. It was an interesting visit absolutely in line with the project objectives.
